Ginataan Na Hipon






Ingredients:
Combine in:

  • 1 Kilo Prawns 
  • 1 - 2  can coconut milk 
  • 1 pc. broth cube ( Maggi cube ) 
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce ( patis ) 
  • 1 thumb ginger ( luy-a ), sliced 
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed 
  • 2 pcs. Medium sized onions, sliced 
  • 1 stalk Lemon grass / Or: tanglad ( Or: Lemon Powder ) 
  • 1 pc. red hot chilli, sliced ( Optional ) 
  • 8 pcs. black  whole pepper, crushed 
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
Cooking Procedure:

  1. Wash Prawns. 
  2. Combine all ingredients and put in a pot.  Simmer for 45 - 60  minutes or until sauce is thickens. Stir occasionally. 
  3. Correct seasoning 
  4. Serve with rice. Enjoy! Kain Tayo
