ADOBONG KANGKONG EASY TO COOK
Ingredients:
• 2 bunch kangkong
• 2 tablespoon cooking oil
• 2 large onion peeled and sliced
• 2-3 tomatoes sliced
• 8 to 10 cloves garlic peeled and minced
• ¼ cup vinegar
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 2 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)
• ¼ - ½ cup hot water
• Pepper and salt to taste
Instructions:
• Wash Kangkong thoroughly and drain well.
• Trim about 2-3 inches from the kangkong stalks and discard. Cut kangkong into 3 - 4 inch lengths, separating the sturdier stalks from the leaves. In a skillet over high heat, heat oil. Add onions, garlic, then add tomatoes sliced.
• Add vinegar and bring to a boil. Continue to cook, without stirring, for about 5 to 6 minutes. Add soy sauce and water. Bring to a boil for about 2 to 3 minutes.. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
• Add kangkong stalks and fish sauce cook for 2 minutes. Add kangkong leaves and cook for another 2 minutes or until just wilted. Remove from heat and Serve hot.
