QUICK AND EASY HOMEMADE PLUM JAM WITH PINEAPPLE JUICE

Ingredients:

·         1 kilo ripe plums cut into half (1,000 Grams)

·         1 cup Pineapple Juice

·         ½ kilo sugar or preserving sugar (500 grams)

Instructions:

  • Combine the ripe roughly plums with sugar and the Pineapple Juice. Mix well and set the pan on medium heat. Let the sugar melt completely and stirring constantly
  • Once the sugar has melted, increase the heat and let the mixture come to a boil. Mash the plums a little while mixing during the cooking process
  • Continue boiling the mixture for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the bottom of the pan is slightly visible while moving the jam with a spoon or spatula. The jam will be slightly thicker and darker in color
  • Switch off the gas, pour this mixture in an airtight jar or glass bottle. The mixture will get thicker after a few hours. Apply the jam onto a slice of bread and enjoy.
